Grant Noren Furniture
New York artists Ingela Noren and Daniel Grant create finely crafted furniture using traditional faux finishing techniques they learned while studying in Ingela's native Sweden. First they apply an under layer of sealing stain or paint, then mix pigment with a milk-based emulsion and apply that glaze with anything that suggests itself- brushes, combs, sponges, fists or fingers- lastly a final varnish is applied to protect the work.
Cricket Forge Furniture
Based in North Carolina, Cricket Forge furniture is a team of metal workers and designers. Each piece they create has been individually cut and fabricated by hand and then painted with durable automotive paints. Their larger benches and artwork can be found outdoors in our sculpture garden.
Dust Furniture
Indiana craftsman Vincent Leman and his wife Jesse began Dust furniture studio in 2005. They are committed to great design, beautiful colors, high quality construction, tough but environmentally friendly finishes, and of course, functionality. Quirky and curvaceous their furniture reflects Vincent's revolt against straight lines and the expected.
