Terri Logan has sent an incredible amount of work for our trunk show, and it is unbelievably beautiful. Thank you Terri for creating such amazing work. She is both a silver-smith and does her own lapidary work — this is evident in the design of the jewelry. Come in to admire it.

Siegfried Schreiber and honest labor

New work from German artist Siegfried Schreiber. They remind me of the lecture Sandra and I heard this year at the American Craft Council Show in Baltimore; Christopher Benfey spoke about his new book and the craft community. He spoke about “Honest Labor” and how it related to craft. I see honest labor in Siegfried’s work. It must really be picked up to be fully enjoyed. Come in and ask to touch one!

Just arrived, about a dozen pieces of jewelry we hand-picked at the Philadelphia wholesale market for American craft. Shown in the photo are Julie Shaw’s enamel rings, what a blast!
